My name is Glorija Curavić, and I have been the owner of iWash laundry since 2013.

I came up with the idea of opening a laundry service during our family Summer vacation in Croatia.

At the time (in my 20s) I lived in United States where I got used to using laundry service where I would dropped off my laundry on Saturday morning and pick it up day after. So I had my weekends free to enjoy and relax.

Our Story

Coming to Croatia for a vacation we were fighting over who will wash and dry the laundry over weekend. I always joked I would open a laundry service to save the families from spending their weekend fighting about laundry duty.

So finally, after returning to Croatia and after the birth of my third child I wrote a business plan, researched the market to find that there aren’t many services alike and opened my first full circle, no hassle laundry service, not only for businesses but also for ordinary people to make their lives a bit easier.

It is interesting that I came up with the name iWash uWash in an instant, because it was really cool to imagine how customers would choose the service “iWash” as a stand-alone use, or “uWash” as a service use.

Last eight years of laundry business operations as iWash-uWash and dedicated focus on quality and superb, descrete customer service and employee training we have grown into a trusted localy business and are ready to venture and grow as a franchise.

OUR HISTORY



2013. FIRST OPENING

The first iWash-uWash branch opened in 2013 with a washing capacity of only 25kg/h



2015. NEW LOCATION

We are expanding to another location and separating large business clients from private ones so that we can dedicate ourselves to these different groups of clients, and their requirements, and increase the capacity to 42 kg/h.



2017. JOINING LOCATIONS

we merge these two separate locations again into one, we enter a large space, we enter new machines, and again we expand the capacity now to almost 100kg/h.



2019. COLLECTION POINT OPENING

We continue to work, despite the crisis, with the same line-up of people who have been creating a pleasant working and service atmosphere for years. We are proud to continue to be at the service of our loyal customers!



2021. PLANNING A FRANCISE

Once you bring your laundry our specialists check all the garments for stains, damages and fabrication and categorize it to calculate the total price. We agree on pick up date. You come and get your squeaky clean laundry!
